1. Who we are

MindStitch ("MindStitch", "we", "us") is provided by [Company legal name], registered in the Republic of Kosovo under number [registration number], with its address at [registered address]. You can reach us at info@mindstitch.dev.

2. The service

MindStitch is software that explains programming concepts introduced into your code by AI coding tools. It consists of a Claude Code plugin, an editor extension, a web application and related APIs (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

3. Accounts

You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials and device tokens secure.
You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
Organization owners and admins control their organization's members, roles and settings.

4. Your content and code

You keep all rights to your code and any content you submit ("Customer Content"). You give us a limited license to process Customer Content only to provide, secure and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell Customer Content, and we do not use it to train AI models. Generic concept explanations we write (for example, "what is CORS") contain no Customer Content and belong to us.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: break the law using the Service; try to access other customers' data; probe, scan or test the Service's security except through our responsible-disclosure process; overload or disrupt the Service; resell the Service without our written permission; or use it to build a competing product by copying it.

6. Plans, payment and taxes

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Seat-based plans are billed for members who used the plugin or extension during the billing month.
Usage limits (such as live AI cards) are described on our pricing page. When a limit is reached, the Service switches to catalog cards; we never charge overages without your consent.
Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.
Enterprise plans are governed by a separate signed order form, which prevails over these Terms where they differ.

7. Beta features

Features marked beta or early access are provided as they are, may change, and may be withdrawn. They are not covered by any service level commitment.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and secure, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, except where a signed agreement includes a service level. We may change the Service and these Terms; for material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms. After termination you can export your data for 30 days, after which it is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Explanations are generated with the help of AI and may contain mistakes; they are learning material, not professional or security advice. To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kosovo. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
